We found and highlighted words with the long-i sound and with the -or and -er suffixes. 2) My View 1.5, Pages 71-77: We started reading the story “Seasons Around the World”. This is an informational story about how people in different parts of the world experience different seasons. We didn’t do the close read activities this time because they were too advanced. Pages 174: #6-8: Choose the word with the same igh sound as the underlined word, #9-10 choose the correct spelling for words with the -er or -or suffixes. Page 175: Read the informative passage and talk about the images on the bottom. Page 176-177: Answer comprehension multiple choice problems using the pictures.
