Friday, September 13 Classes

Hello Everyone,

Here is what we covered today:

Class Period 3:

1) Filled out communication books.

2) Collected Worksheets

3) We worked on MyView pages 81,82,85,86. 

Page 81: We created four sentences from the words that were not used on the pages. 

Page 82: We talked about past, present, and future tenses and how to change the verb tense depending on the time you are talking about.

Page 85:  We completed a vocabulary fill-in-the-blank-activity.

Page 86: We found the "ar" words that sound similar and changed singular nouns to plural.

Class Period 4:

1) The class took the Unit 1 exam. We will move onto a new lesson starting next week.

2) Quite a few students were talking during the exam while other students were still taking their tests. We sat in silence after the last student took their test and I talked to them about the importance of being respectful and quite during the test. I might bring it up again to my students on Monday.

Homework: 

1) Write five original sentences using the "Through Georgia's Eyes" Part 2 vocabulary. Use 2 vocabulary words per sentence.

2) All of 202 and 204 I1 homeroom students should have had their Unit 1 tests returned to them. Some students from 203 will not have their worksheets back as they are still in the homeroom. These students should have them back by Monday for signing. 

For parents of other students, please make sure you sign the tests so I can collect them on Monday. My signature isn't on there this time. I'll try to include it and the percentage for the next tests and quizzes.
