Class Period 6

1) Oxford Phonics World 4:

Page 58 (finish) - Listened to words and drew circles around the words.

Page 59 - Read story together and circled parts in the drawing that related to the story.

Page 60 - Sang a song and circled things from the song on the picture.


Class Period 7

1) Oxford Phonics World 4:

Page 61: Filled in a crossword with the words for pictures.

Page 62: Circled the word blend belonging to the word for the displayed image. Also, looked at pictures and connected lines to make the words for the pictures. We then wrote the words.

2) Skill Sharpeners Math 2:

Page 48: Made three drawings of coins and 1 dollar bills to show three ways to get to $4.60

Page 49: Solved the 2-digit subtraction problems

Page 50: Solved the 2-digit subtraction problems to find the coded message. Then drew the word in the box.

Homework:

1) Write Week 16 vocabulary words #1-8 x 4.

2) I handed back the Week 15 vocab test. Parents, please sign.

4) Sensay Week 14 Comprehension Questions.

We learned about words that had the same diphthongs and circled them after viewing the matching image.
