Here is what we covered today:

Class Period 3:

1) MyView Pages 40-45. We read "Through Georgia's Eyes" in class. On page 42, we looked for and underlined examples of how Georgia expresses her feelings in her own way.

2) We went through all of the 24 vocabulary words of "Through Georgia's Eyes" again:

Class Period 4:

Vocab Quiz Practice worksheet: 

-Most of the students received the following two worksheets to work on in class and as homework: https://drive.google.com/open?id=13n9VWm_6j76OOxI3_tnqUBBhM_5o8rdS&usp=drive_fs . Section B will require students to fill in the missing words using their MyView books and finding the words in the "Through Georgia's Eyes" story, starting on page 27. Students can take home their MyView book, but will need to bring it back to class tomorrow.

-Because the first worksheets ran out, a few students received this different worksheet to work on in class and as homework: https://drive.google.com/open?id=13kgsFHa4WJSxkVWGKfbjxKLb5Z9p2OEP&usp=drive_fs . Section A of this worksheet needs listening and writing, so the students will not be able to do this part for homework, but they should have written it down in class when I spoke the words. Don't worry if this is not completed.

Extra Practice:

For the vocabulary quiz tomorrow, students can view above the worksheet(s) they did not receive and use them as practice.

Homework: 

1) Study for the "Through Georgia's Eyes" Vocabulary Quiz #1-24.

2) Finish the worksheets received in class and use them to study for the Quiz tomorrow, Friday, September 6. Listening and spelling will be tested on the quiz. The format will look very similar to the second practice worksheet.
