Here is what we covered today:

Class Period 3:

Class Period 4:

We worked on the final draft of the Personal Narrative. Since the second draft was already printed on white stock paper, I gave the students regular paper to write the final draft on. Some students didn't finish and should turn in on Monday.

Homework: 

1) Write 5 Sentences, 2 words in each sentence.

2) Finish the Oral Practice Worksheet. We did this in class together, so the students should already have this completed. This is similar to the format of the Oral Exam.

3) Study for the Midterm Oral Exam, which will happen next Monday, October 21. I will have students read a passage from the decodables (Star Art, Cars by Bob, Raise the Flag) and verbally answer five questions about the passage. Students will not see the questions. They will only have the passage to read. 

I put the decodables on Sensay, so students can practice speaking with all 9 of the decodable pages.

4) There are some students who need to finish their final draft and give to me on Monday:
