Hello Everyone,

Here is what we covered today:

Class Period 1:

1) Phonics World 4, pages 24-27: Learned about sm, sn, sp, and sw word beginnings, their sound, and examples of words having these beginnings.

sm: ex-smile, smoke, small, smudge

sn: ex-snake, snow, snack, snack

sp: ex-spoon, spot, spin, spell

sw:ex-swing, swim, sweet, switch

We did some listening, matching, and identifying pictures and word shapes.

Class Period 2:

1) Continued and finished Phonics World 4, pages 24-27:

2) Reviewed more vocabulary from the PPTs:

Homework:

1) Write 4 Sentences: 

Sentence 1-Use one word from Week 2 and one word from Week 3.

Sentence 2-Use one word from Week 3 and one word from Week 4.

Sentence 3-Use one word from Week 5 and one word from Week 6.

Sentence 4-Use one word from Week 7 and one word from Week 8.

2) Study for the Written Exam, which is next Tuesday, October 29. You can study using the textbooks, past worksheets and tests, and the weekly PPTs:

We learned about words that had the same diphthongs and circled them after viewing the matching image.
